Special Guest Speaker Added to Ecolounge

A rooftop BIPV installation using SUNSLATES by Atlantis Energy Systems

Lumen Solar LLC has added a special guest speaker to Ecolounge as part of its March 18 launch. Dave Beckham of Solarity, a Canada-based solar integrator, will speak at 7:30 on the applicatons and installation of building-integrated solar products in Hawaii. The talk is free and open to the public – we invite all interested installers, individuals, and other parties to attend.

Abstract: Applications and Installation of Building-Integrated Photovoltaics in Hawaii
Lumen Solar LLC presents a talk by Dave Beckham of Solarity, a Canada-based solar integrator specializing in building-integrated solar products. Building-integrated photovoltaic (BIPV) products are the next generation in PV functionality and aesthetics, providing renewable energy generation and hot water heating that integrates seamlessly into a building’s façade. Mr. Beckham will discuss BIPV and solar thermal applications in Hawaii and technical aspects of design and installation. The talk will take place during Ecolounge at Indigo in the back room and is free and open to the public.
